Anticipation
Anticipation - is an emotion involving pleasure (and sometimes anxiety) in considering some expected or longed-for good event, or irritation at having to wait.Imagine being stranded on a deserted island with 18,118 dedicated hockey fans for 8 grueling years. Now imagine a cruise ship comes along and saves you and these desperate but loyal hockey fans and on board this ship lies the 2010 NHL PLAYOFFS. Excitement runs across your face, the adrenaline pumps through your already icy blood and your heart can only take the pressure for a few pulse-racing nights! Then suddenly a creepy and familiar blue whale comes along and smashes head first into the bow of the ship of dreams. You topple over and the sure weight of the situation manages to break your spirit (even if only for a moment). The ship capsizes and all 18,118 fans are dumped into the cold and murky waters of the pacific among the sharks,whales,ducks and coyotes of the great western conference. Let's not sink. Let's swim together as hard as we can! Be as loud as we can and make it back to the NHL PLAYOFFS in 2011!!!! We will be BACK IN BLACK!!!! Who's with me?
